How Many lessons do i need?

This varies from person to person.

5-10 lessons is a great place to start and can be enough for some people. Between 10-30 is quite normal.

You may also find that a blend of private and group lessons is the most beneficial program for you.

What happens in a lesson?

We look at activities and how you can apply AT to them. These can range from getting in and out of a chair to singing, running or washing the dishes! Whatever activities you are looking to do with more ease. Lessons can also involve chair or table work, which is gentle movement of your body while seated or lying on a table.

Why do you call it a lesson?

AT isn’t a therapy, it’s a skill that you learn to cultivate and practice for yourself. My job is to help you help yourself.

How does looking at one activity help everything else?

Through learning the technique, you’ll be able to apply the process to other things in your life. The hands on aspect of the work has the ability to change your underlying state, which will bring more ease into everything you do.

What should i wear?

Something comfortable that you can move in. We normally work without shoes (unless for example you’re looking to book a lesson focusing on running outside!), so bring a pair of socks.
